Virtual Membership Meeting Set for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27

Tribal Council has scheduled a virtual membership meeting for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27. Agenda items will include changes to the per capita program and the minors’ trust, and updates on the Tribe’s revenue allocation plan and finances.

Council apologizes for the short notice but wants to talk with the membership about these important changes sooner rather than later. Online participation instructions and an agenda will be available before the meeting – look for details at PuyallupTribe-nsn.gov. Members also will be able to call in if they prefer.

Members are strongly encouraged to send any questions they have about the meeting topics to AskCouncil@puyalluptribe-nsn.gov before the meeting so that Council can be sure to address them in the meeting.

Remote viewing at Chief Leschi; expect in-person meeting in July

Council would prefer an in-person meeting but recognizes that our area is still under the threat of COVID-19. The gymnasium at Chief Leschi Schools, 5625 52nd St. E., Puyallup, will be available for remote participation if members would prefer to go there. Social distancing rules will still be in effect.

We expect to have an in-person meeting at a large venue in mid-July.
