With Tribal operations returned to normal following a fatal shooting in Eastside Tacoma last week, Tribal Council invited representatives of the U.S. Attorney’s Office and FBI into Chambers on Wednesday, Aug. 21, to discuss measures to counter violence, gang activity and other problems. Councilmembers agreed people should not feel they must live in fear but also thanked the FBI for its attention to the Puyallup Reservation. “We want safe streets,” Chairman David Bean said.
