Tribal Council Primary Election Will Take Place Saturday, June 6

Tribal Council will hold its primary election on June 6, and the general election on Aug. 1.

The primary election will feature drive-thru voting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Chief Leschi Schools, 5625 52nd St. E., Puyallup. Absentee ballots can be mailed to Election Board mailbox, 1625 E. 72nd St. Ste 700 — PMB 149, Tacoma, WA 98404.  Absentee ballots must be received in the mailbox by 8 a.m. on June 6.

The primary election usually takes place the first Saturday in April, and the general election usually takes place on the first Saturday in June. Council passed a resolution in March postponing the elections and changing the polling place in light of the COVID-19 crisis. For election updates, go to www.puyalluptribe-nsn.gov.
