Dear Tribal Community, All Tribal government buildings have been closed since Nov. 9 as a proactive approach against COVID-19. After consultation with Medical Director Dr. Alan Shelton, Tribal Council has extended the closure until Jan. 19, 2021. Building access is limited, and by appointment-only with supervisory approval. As with previous closures, we must continue services to the Membership, so departments need to stay open and employees will be expected to telework. Two employees test positive for COVID-19, tribal buildings remain closed

Dear Tribal Community, Two Tribal government employees reported that they tested positive for COVID-19 today: One worked in the Incubator Building and Administration Building last week, and the other has been working remotely. The first case was almost expected, and mentioned in a previous announcement. Reminder: Tribal Administration proactively closed all Tribal government buildings through Dec. 14 to help slow the spread. Access by employees is limited, although services to the Membership are continuing. Dear Tribal Community, A Tribal employee has a child who tested positive for COVID-19 and is awaiting test results. While there was minimal chance of exposure to other employees, Tribal Administration wants to be cautious, and move forward as though the employee tested positive, as well. Tribal Administration to be closed to visitors for deep cleaning for rest of Tuesday as COVID-19 safety precaution

Dear Tribal Community, An employee who works for Tribal Law Enforcement tested positive for COVID-19 today. As with previous positive cases, staff responded quickly and notified the appropriate people. As a precaution, the Tribal Administration building will close to visitors and employees for deep cleaning for the rest of today. It is expected to reopen Wednesday morning, but as before most employees should be working remotely, and visitors need appointments.
