Good day, Tribal community. To help you stay informed, we are letting you know that an employee who works in the Elders building recently tested positive for COVID-19. The Elders department is following best practices and will be closed to visitors until Tuesday, Dec. 14. We encourage anyone who visited The House of Respect Residence between Nov.29 and Dec.4 to get tested 4-5 days after their last visit. House of Respect to reopen Feb. 6 to visitors

On Feb. 6, the House of Respect will reopen to visitors, with some restrictions that will help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Visitors who want to visit in a Resident’s room will need to present a COVID-19 vaccination card that shows their second dose was administered before Jan. 27. NO EXCEPTIONS. As additional family and friends get vaccinated, the requirement for visiting in The Residence will remain 10 days after second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
