By Puyallup Tribal News Staff Taking a drive through the Puyallup Reservation just got a little brighter. A collection of silver metal utility boxes now showcase Coast Salish art and language. On Monday, the Duenas brothers – Chris, Anthony and Daniel – unveiled their new designs featured on utility boxes around the Emerald Queen Casino and East 32nd Street, right off Portland Avenue. Just over 26 years have passed since he put pen to paper to create his first coastal piece, when he was a student at Chief Leschi Schools. “CLS was located where the current EQC tent is back then,” he said.
