Dear Tribal community, Administration has learned of two positive cases among employees today. With the rises in cases and possible exposures, Tribal Council has approved closure of the following buildings for the rest of this week as a precaution: • Main Administration Building • Youth Center • Culture Building Administration will re-evaluate conditions on Friday (watch for updates online). Employees are expected to telework if they are able. Per Capita Department closing for the day due to positive COVID-19 test

A recent visitor to the Per Capita Department has tested positive for COVID-19. As a precaution, we are closing the Per Capita Department today for deep cleaning. The rest of Tribal Administration will remain open. The former Sound Credit Union building (2806 E. Portland Ave., Tacoma), which houses Children’s Services, Set Aside and Housing, closed on Tuesday for deep cleaning after a member of an employee’s household tested positive. April 20 update: Positive COVID-19 case reported, tribal building closing for deep cleaning

An employee who works in the Sound Credit Union Building has reported a positive test for COVID-19. We wish the employee the best. The building is closing today a deep cleaning and will reopen Wednesday afternoon. Tribal building closure extended; services continue for Membership

To help protect the Tribal community against the spread of COVID-19, Puyallup Tribal Council has extended the government building closure through March 5. Tribal buildings have been closed since Nov. 9, with access limited to appointment-only with supervisory approval. Employees who can telework will continue to do so. Employees who cannot telework may be eligible for Paid Administrative Leave. As always, Tribal Members are encouraged to use the Tribal Directory if they are in need of essential services.
