Grandview Early Learning Center closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has remained closed for a long-planned renovation. Although GELC’s building is closed due to construction, it’s important to note that its Subsidized Child Care Program is still available for Tribal families. In addition, GELC staff are continuing to serve families with meals, activity packets and other support. The Subsidized Child Care Program is funded through the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) and offers choices for your family's child care needs. Attention ALL Tribal Members: The deadline to apply for CARES Relief Funds / COVID-19 Assistance Program is fast approaching. You can be reimbursed for your COVID-19 related expenses. Gather your receipts, bank statements, and any other documentation of purchases and loss of income dating back to March 1, 2020! So far the Tribe has sent nearly $6 million in assistance to Tribal Members. You and your household may qualify for up to $4,000 per adult Member and $750 per minor Member.
