The new location for Puyallup Tribal Members on-site fireworks sales will be located next to the Commencement Bay Cannabis store at 3509 East 72nd, Tacoma, WA 98443.
Retail/wholesale fireworks and concession license sales will be conducted at the Puyallup Tribal Administration Building May 31 to June 3 between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The cost for a license is $500.00 for both on-site and off-site locations with a $100.00 refund to off-site stand owners only.
The maximum number of stands will be 102.
Stand owner/partner must be Puyallup Tribal members and must be present when conducting the business of selling fireworks. If the stand is open and there is no owner/partner on site, the stand will be closed the rest of the day. The second violation will result in closure for 48 hours. A third violation will result in closure for the rest of the season.
All fireworks stands on-site must have lockable doors and flaps.
No pop-up stands allowed.
Owners of R.V.’s will be charged $300.00 for an assigned spot otherwise will be towed at owners’ expense.
There will be no trailers or containers with fireworks stored at this on-site location. Trailers are allowed 15 minutes for loading/unloading only.
There will be no overnight parking for trailers.
There will be no detonation or lighting of fireworks.
