Special guest instructor to teach weaving at Culture Center on Aug. 20, 22

Master weaver Josh Mason, Squaxin Island, will teach different weaving and basket styles, such as the clam basket, at Canoe Family and Culture Classes on Aug. 20 and 22.

The classes, with a light dinner, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Culture Center, 3509 72nd St. E., Tacoma. For more information, contact Culture Director Connie McCloud at 253-389-8729.
