Tribal Council Endorses Ang and Camarata for Port Commission

Statement from Chairman David Z. Bean:

I am happy to announce that the Puyallup Tribal Council has endorsed Justin Camarata and Kristin Ang in the Port of Tacoma primary election.

Kristin and Justin have proven track records and the courage to make hard decisions. We believe their leadership will help protect the environment and bring the Port of Tacoma into the 21st century by saying no to risky fossil fuel projects that expose our communities to harm and continuing to invest in shipping that is so vital to the regional economy.

We encourage like-minded people to support these candidates on Election Day.
