Message from Puyallup Tribal Council: Phased Casino Reopening

We are happy to announce that Emerald Queen Casino Fife will once again open its doors at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18.

It will be a phased reopening. This Council has emphasized health and safety since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis. We took decisive action to protect our community, sometimes in advance of similar actions by the state, and we have repeatedly said that when we reopen our casino operations, which closed March 16, we will do so safely and responsibly.

At first, we will limit the number of people allowed inside to no more than 30 percent capacity. We will check temperatures of everyone entering our doors and expect people to wear masks. Our EQC staff will clean the casino continuously, they will limit the availability of food, and they will expect staff and guests alike to maintain social distancing. Our EQC website will have more information.

In June, we will open our much-awaited brand-new Emerald Queen Casino I-5 location in Tacoma. That will be truly exciting news, something our membership, customers and community have looked forward to for many years.
