Dec. 29 update: 2 employees tests positive for virus; Admin building already deep-cleaned
Dear Tribal Community,
2 Tribal government employees reported testing positive for COVID-19 on Monday. The Administration Building was deep-cleaned after another positive case was reported last week, and no additional deep cleaning is necessary.
Reminder: Tribal Administration proactively closed all Tribal government buildings through Jan. 19 to help slow the spread. Access by employees is limited, although services to the Membership are continuing. Employees are expected to telework, and paid administrative leave is provided to those unable to telework, with supervisory approval.
The Tribe has taken numerous measures to ensure the safety of our employees during the coronavirus outbreak, including encouraging teleworking for positions that allow, implementing social distancing, installing Plexiglas barriers, remodeling building entries, and conducting regular cleaning and disinfection of buildings.
You can learn more about steps you can take to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 on our website:http://puyallup-tribe.com/COVID19/covid.php.

Stay well. Stay safe.
