COVID Update: Positive Case Reported, Several Tribal Offices Will Close

A Tribal employee has reported a positive test for COVID-19. We wish the employee the best. Out of an abundance of caution, the following Admin offices are to close immediately, and remain closed on Friday: Culture Center, Community Domestic Violence Advocacy Program, Hunting & Wildlife, Maintenance and the Administration Building. Employees who can telework are encouraged to do so. Those who need to work in the office may return on Monday morning. Human Resources is conducting contact tracing to determine if there were exposures.

Tribal buildings remain by appointment-only

Reminder: Tribal Administration buildings are accessed by appointment-only at this time as a proactive measure to slow the spread of COVID-19. Access by employees is limited, although services to the Membership are continuing. Employees are expected to telework, and paid administrative leave may be provided to those unable to telework, with supervisory approval.

As always, Tribal Members are encouraged to use the Tribal Directory if they are in need of essential services. The directory, which lists email and cell phone numbers for staff in many programs, is published each month in the newspaper, and is also online at https://www.puyalluptribe-nsn.gov.
